Written using the titles of 100+ movies to construct his rapped verses, the song first appeared on Shirt’s Tan-Face Children EP released in collaboration with Darvin Silva in 2010. The track utilizes an edited instrumental of “Polite Dance Song” by the band The Bird and the Bee. The one-take video was filmed by Shirt and friends at NYC’s Angelika Film Center, with the crew gaining access to the historic two story theatre after it closed with permission from the manager.
