The 6-track EP was recorded in LA over two months during the summer of 2015. The project was released to streaming services November 21st, distributed by Chicago's Closed Sessions label. The cover image was designed by Shirt to represent a broad idea in how he approached making rap records, and featured the likeness of living French artist Bertrand Lavier, an artist well known to paint over readymade objects using bold and furious brush strokes in the tradition of Van Gogh. Popular songs on the project include "Phantom (Redux)" and "Vanity Fair."
