Taking an electric chainsaw to the oil painting titled I Eat What I Catch, Shirt cut the work on canvas in two pieces. The work (pictured) is constructed of the left side of the painted canvas work adhered to the right side of an inkjet print of the low resolution jpeg image. The iteration of the work (not pictured) that consists of the right side of the canvas work and left side print exists as well. The original full canvas work was photographed and used to create the digital cover art for Shirt and producer Sharp’s 3-track ep I Eat What I Catch.
