The inspiration for the conceptual collection was prompted by remarks designer Raf Simons made about designer Virgil Abloh, and Virgil's subsequent response. Again utilizing corporate identities not his own, appropriating the logos and design language from both brands, Shirt produced various pieces on sale for a limited time on the website rafsimonsoffwhite.com launched in May 2017.
