On June 11, the last day of his exhibition Elsewhere We Remain Unreadable at KeyClub, Shirt performed perched on the edge of a neighboring rooftop overlooking Broadway in NYC. He began the verse with the sentence ‘I found this book in that book’ and continued freestyling from there. A small mix of invited guests and random onlookers watched the artist from the street below. On the roof, the photographer ILLDEFINED shot still photos of Shirt, while the drone footage in the clip above was filmed by Dimitri Santaella. Audio was captured by Shirt with his iPhone placed on the ledge in front of him.
