Included with the release of We’re Still Alive is a series of works featuring the lyrics, and in some cases, Shirt’s interpretation of the lyrics, to each of the tracks on the album. Each song, all of which are written by Shirt except for “America Radicalizes” noted as being written by ANOHNI and interpreted by Shirt with the written lyric “America radicalizes and it’s global”, utilizes exactly the existing, found concrete poetry of David Aylward, specifically "the forest of knives". Aylward’s "the orbiting vine" is used for the album’s production credits.
