Do Not Like This (2020)

In August Shirt posted a blank image on his instagram with the caption reading, “I want to try this Please don’t (do not) ‘like’ this post”. For 24 hours Shirt monitored the post, asking people who despite the prompt ‘liked’ the post anyway if they could “unlike” it. If he got no response he persisted in follow up comments, direct messages, and in some cases by email. Most people excitedly complied, however a couple days later 2-3 likes on the post remained. At the time of writing this months later the post currently has 7 likes on it.
