Installed on the 41st side of the Queensbridge Projects in Queens, NY the 10-foot dot-painted Mickey sculpture was said to be a "gift to the community," instantly attracting kids who recognized its famous form. Visiting the site four days later, the piece was found gone from its original location, two blocks down in a heap of trash. The piece was salvaged, then later restored and kept in private collection.
