Days after attending Yoko Ono's 5am sunrise ritual at the Museum of Modern Art, Shirt announced the Soundcloud project and began releasing modified imagery referencing Ono's works. A newly formed practice of modifying images ever so slightly, he begun carefully splicing words in Ono's work in order to make new texts. A rap project at its core, $250 On Soundcloud saw Shirt, over a period of seven days, write and record to a beat of anyone's choosing for a one time fee of $250.
