Acrylic paint marker on found chair, inkjet print on PCW paper
35 x 17 x 16 in. (chair), 55 x 39.5 in. (print)

Coming upon the chair in the street amongst the trash in 2019, Shirt recognized the handstyle of the artist Jim Joe who’d written in paint marker ‘ALLEGEDUCATION JIM JOE 2019’ on the leather seat. Deciding to keep the chair, in 2021 Shirt had one of the original photos he took on his iPhone printed, including both the print and chair in his exhibit Elsewhere, We Remain Unreadable at KeyClub in New York.
